School Residencies

Penumbra partners with K-12 schools to offer dynamic, in-classroom residencies for pre-k through high school students. Our national program create joyful, rigorous learning spaces that blend embodied artistic practice, trauma-aware care, social justice pedagogy, somatic regulation techniques, and reflective collaboration. At the outset of a residency, we will immerse teachers in our curriculum and learn what additional supports may be needed to extend student engagement after the residency period ends.
